Peoria Rescue Ministries exists to serve and glorify God through a Christ-centered outreach of love that responds to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of hurting men, women, and children without regard to race, creed, or social standing.
The objectives of the corporation of Peoria Rescue Ministries shall be:
To conduct a nondenominational mission to aid, assist, and care for destitute men; to furnish a temporary home and job placement for these men; and to contribute to the uplifting of such persons by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and affording these men opportunities for emotional, moral and spiritual advancement.
To offer life-affirming alternatives to abortion, to address the needs of pregnant women, to offer training in parenting skills, to educate single people about sexual abstinence and by providing hope for men and women hurting from the aftermath of abortion.
To minister locally, nationally and internationally to the moral and spiritual needs of individuals with particular emphasis on family issues.
To provide a temporary home for women and women with children for the purpose of educational and/or vocational advancement and uplifting such persons by preaching the Gospel, affording them opportunities for spiritual, emotional and spiritual advancement.
To provide all services and goods to individuals without charge when achieving the above objectives, except the corporation may charge reasonable prices for the resale of donated clothing, appliances and other items as a part of a thrift shop with the objective of assisting the working poor in meeting their material needs.
