Only twenty minutes from busy downtown Peoria, where farmland and trees outline the surrounding thoroughfares, sits the Victory Acres complex. Here men commit to a three to twelve month program designed to teach them to consistently walk with Christ and to develop basic life skills needed to rejoin society as responsible Christian men.
Away from the temptations and snares of city life, these men are able to reflect upon life's priorities in an atmosphere of peace and security.

Spiritual Development:

In 1995 Peoria Rescue Ministries and Caterpillar Inc., formed a unique partnership between ministry and industry, providing a service to the community and supporting funds to the ministry. Pallet recycling by Victory Acres residents fulfills a need for Caterpillar, and provides job experience as well as a small financial allowance for each resident. This in turn reduces the tax and welfare burden to the community and positively affects the environment by extending the life of the landfills and trees.
