Victory Acres is committed to being an instrument God can use in the lives of men on the road to recovery. As a long term adult men's recovery program, men commit to a three to twelve month program designed to teach them to consistently walk with Christ and to develop the basic life skills needed to rejoin society as responsible Christian men.

While at Victory Acres, men are taught what it means to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and how to depend upon God to supply the needs in their lives. It is only as men get to know the God that created them and learn to depend upon Him, that they will begin to understand and believe the truth that sets them free.

Bible classes
Individual counseling & discipleship
Personal studies
Scripture memorization
Group sharing & prayer time
Local church involvement
Daily work projects

Work Program

In 1995, Peoria Rescue Ministries and Caterpillar Inc. formed a unique partnership between ministry and industry, providing a service to the community and supporting funds to the ministry. Pallet recycling by Victory Acres residents fulfills a need for Caterpillar, and provides job experience as well as a small financial allowance for each resident. This in turn reduces the tax and welfare burden to the community and positively affects the environment by extending the life of the landfills and trees.

Directions

From Interstate 474
Take exit 6A (Westbound) or exit 6 (Eastbound) off I-474 West. Take 24 West until you come to Cameron Lane on the right (Approximately 1 mile past junction with Rt. 9). Turn right onto Cameron Lane. Continue on Cameron Lane for 1.5 miles until McCullough Road. Turn left on McCullough Road for 1.5 miles. You will see our facility on the right.
